Adult Road Skills Course 13th-27th June
3 sessions of 90 mins aiming to improve your knowledge, skills and confidence to ride on the roads.
Service Description
The course will include how to set off, ride and stop safely, share the roads with other road users and negotiate junctions. In a small group of up to 4 people, the instructor will lead you step-by-step, starting in a traffic-free area to check skills before moving onto quiet minor roads and then busier roads. To attend you must be confident at starting, stopping and riding in a straight line. The ability to look behind and signal would be of benefit. The course will be led by a qualified National Standards for Cycle Training instructor. (Please note, if the initial assessment identifies that you do not yet have the required skills you will not be able to progress onto the road, however we will discuss options for you to gain the required skills) Bike Hire available for an extra £5 per session. Cycle Helmet Hire is an extra £2 per session
